Derwen Villa is a well-received cottage in South Wales, praised for its comfort, well-equipped nature, and beautiful garden. Guests appreciate the homely feel, secure garden for pets, and the property's suitability for families. The location offers a quiet village setting with proximity to beaches and towns. Some guests noted limited Wi-Fi and mobile signal, adding to the property's tranquil charm, although this may not suit everyone.
Most guests found the cottage to be very clean and well-maintained, contributing to a comfortable and welcoming stay. However, one review mentioned it was not clean, which slightly impacts the overall high cleanliness rating.
The location is generally appreciated for its quietness and proximity to local attractions and beaches. Some guests, however, desired more accessible walks and better mobile connectivity.
The majority of guests found the cottage to be comfortable, with a cosy atmosphere, spacious rooms, and a well-furnished garden. Comfort was a highlight in the reviews.
Facilities are highly regarded, with the cottage being described as well-equipped and homely. Some minor issues with Wi-Fi connectivity and kitchen appliances were noted, but overall, the facilities met guests' needs.
While some reviews mention a welcome basket and treats, as gifts are not consistently referenced across the reviews, it is not possible to accurately score thoughtfulness. It should be noted that such personal touches are appreciated when provided.

Large and comfortable. Tumble dryer and freezer was an added bonus. Shower was very powerful which was great. WiFi was an issue when trying to find out where we wanted to go but I believe this was due to being in a dip. We chose the location for its location of coast and closeness to friends and this was perfect
