A Luxurious Escape: Experiencing Tranquility in Cardigan Bay Nestled along the picturesque shores of Cardigan Bay, our recent stay at the luxury bungalow proved to be an unforgettable retreat. From the moment we arrived, we were enveloped in a world of unparalleled beauty and serenity. Situated in a prime location boasting panoramic views of the bay, the property offered a mesmerizing backdrop that effortlessly set the tone for relaxation. As we stepped inside, we were immediately struck by the impeccable design and attention to detail. Every aspect of the bungalow exuded elegance and sophistication, reflecting its esteemed five-star status. The interior decor exuded a sense of refinement, with plush furnishings and tasteful accents adorning each room. From the spacious living area to the cozy bedrooms, every space was thoughtfully curated to ensure both comfort and style. The high-class finish was evident in every corner, showcasing a commitment to excellence that surpassed all expectations. One of the highlights of our stay was undoubtedly the breathtaking views that greeted us each morning, which was further enjoyed by sitting in the jacuzzi. The expansive windows offered uninterrupted vistas of the bay, allowing us to revel in the beauty of nature from the comfort of our own private sanctuary. Whether enjoying a leisurely breakfast or simply unwinding with a book, the stunning scenery served as a constant source of inspiration and tranquility. In addition to its idyllic setting, the bungalow boasted an array of amenities designed to enhance the guest experience. From the state-of-the-art kitchen to the luxurious bathrooms, no detail was overlooked in ensuring a seamless stay. Lovely property, very quiet location perfect to relax. The hot tub was ready for our arrival which was great. Couldn't find the hairdryer but a quick text to the owner and they sorted one of theirs for me to borrow as the previous people had pinched the original one! Lovely welcome pack of cakes and Welsh cakes and a little bottle of milk. The bed was comfy and there are plenty of blankets as it does get chilly at night. It does get super warm when the sun is out but there are plenty of fans and once you open the doors and windows it soon cools down. Was great to have an oven and microwave and a big fridge freezer so we could have meals in rather then eat out all the time. The nearest big supermarket is morrisons which is 30 mins away by car in Aberystwyth however there is a nisa just a 5 minute walk across the horse field which had a really good selection of stuff. Abaeraron is a 2 mile walk, it's a nice walk, you can't really walk down the main a437 as there's no path however if you follow the path as far as you can then take a right through the houses there's a path all the way into town, it's not for the faint hearted lol it is a very steep slope for around half a mile. New quay is a 10 minute drive away, it's very small but very pretty. The owners are very welcoming and the views from the silo balcony are beautiful with just the horses as neighbours. Considering its on a working livery farm the noise of tractors didn't bother us at all and it wasn't all day every day either.

Both of us and our 2 dogs settled in quickly to a week of beautiful Welsh late summer weather.

Rose Cottage was extremely comfortable, well-appointed and thoughtfully prepared. We were received personally and although we knew our hosts were very nearby, we were undisturbed and independent. The stairs are nifty, but tricky but our private hot-tub was our reward after a day's hike. We walked sections of the coastal path, as well as Teifi, Aeron river valleys. We found good circular walks near Cenarth, Cilgerran, New Quay and especially Aberaeron, plus lovely tea room stops - don't miss the stunning National Trust beach at Penbryn. Retail therapy is hard to find, but for a breakfast/brunch we recommend the farm shop & bistro at the Moody Cow.The Daffodil owner-managed pub at the end of the farm road serves high quality food most evenings; other dog-friendly pubs are a fair drive away and it's best to double-check on online details, as we found they were unreliable at this time of year.

We had a very relaxing week with our two dogs.

The location is very peaceful and Louise and Terry were very friendly and helpful. The cottage is small and cozy, and equipped with everything you need for a stay. The hot tub was very welcome after a days walking and exploring. There are plenty of dog walks and being out of season we were able to take them to the beaches at Tenby and Aberystwyth. For dog friendly places to eat, the Fuschia Cafe in Tenby does an awesome cooked breakfast, the Bunch of Grapes in Newcastle Emlyn is a good pub with a friendly atmosphere, good food and a pint and allows dogs inside. The Daffodil also allows dogs in the bar and provides blankets and treats for four legged visitors. Our one issue was the ceilings were quite low and my husband struggled with the doors and stairs so it might not be the best choice for people over 6ft.

Lovely finishing touches such as the wine and cakes. We felt very welcomed and very relaxed. When we got to the farm we had a bit of trouble locating the silo, we went down a track to the left which led nowhere and I ended up getting out of the car and wandering about to find it. Generally very clean but the sofa cushions had not been vacuumed inbetween. There were nuts and fluff down there. Kitchen well equipped. There is also a cable or something running down the outside of the silo that bangs against it in the night and did wake us. You can tell it’s a labour of love and we fell in love with it too. I was sad to leave
