A lovely, traditional terraced cottage, located opposite the harbour in the quaint village of Roundstone, County Galway. Set over three floors, this Roundstone cottage provides comfortable accommodation, perfect for friends and family looking to discover this beautiful part of Ireland. Complete with a spacious first floor open plan living area, this Roundstone cottage also features a roaring open fire ideal for relaxing in front of whilst watching the fishermen bringing in the day's catch to the pretty harbour. This County Galway cottage is an excellent base for touring all this spectacular region has to offer. Join the locals for a pint of the black stuff in one of the local pubs and sample traditional Irish music at its best, or take a trip to the market town of Clifden with its bustling shops and restaurants. Walkers and hikers will adore the routes through the stunning Connemara National Park, with the Twelve Pins mountain range a particular highlight. From your County Galway cottage you can also try your hand at scuba diving, deep-sea fishing or horse riding, or take a boat trip to Inishboffin Island. The Aran Islands are also within easy reach, as is the cosmopolitan city of Galway. For those who prefer a slower pace of life, the miles of unspoilt coastline won't fail to enchant and inspire; within driving distance are Gurteen and Dog's Bay beaches, and further afield is Ballyconneely beach. A terrific Roundstone cottage in a superb location that you will want to return to again and again.

Roundstone is a village in the Connemara region of County Galway, boasting a harbour, shops, pubs and restaurants, and is home to annual festivals, including Roundstone Arts Week. Connemara Golf Club is an easy drive away, as is the town of Clifden.

Fuel, power and starter pack for open fire included in rent Apr to Sept ,€30 supplement payable directly to owner Oct - Mar inclusive.

Bed linen and towels included in rent.

    We had a little problem, we contacted the owner and he, Sean, was able to sort it out without any fuss. Excellent service. Ideal location for us to visit everywhere we wanted to visit. Very friendly locals, good food and drink. We would go back again.
