This beautiful whitewashed cottage is close to the shores of Lough Corrib, near the attractive town of Oughterard with its shops, cafes and restaurants. Perfect for exploring the lakes, mountains and coastline of Connemara.
The property was formerly used as an art gallery, today the accommodation is dotted with beautiful pieces of artwork. Sitting in the grounds of the owner’s house, this charming holiday home is very pretty, decorated in a neutral pallet with two bedrooms for three guests. The sitting room has a wood-burning stove and the kitchen is well equipped for all your holiday needs. Step outside and relax on the patio or stroll around the nearby woodland. Situated about 3 ¾ miles from Oughterard, the 'Gateway to Connemara' this self catering property is close to excellent shops and restaurants. Tennis and pony trekking are also available locally and there’s an 18 hole golf course too. Explore lake Corrib by boat or try your hand at fishing, this is the largest lake in Southern Ireland! This is a great base for exploring the spectacular scenery of Connemara with its many lakes, mountains and interesting and varied coastline and dark night skies.
