Located within the Cotswolds' 550 acre Lower Mill Estate nature reserve and just a minute's stroll from the River Thames, the property offers accommodation ideal for families with youngsters, but is also perfect for couples looking to relax.
Internally, the cottage is welcoming and well furnished with your own grassed garden outside, perfect for sitting / playing, with a small and shallow stream, and lake beyond.
The Lower Mill Estate is particularly attractive for families as there are many activities on offer, including an outdoor heated swimming pool, sauna, tennis courts and walking as well as countless other activities nearby.
This property also benefits from Membership of the ARTSPA facility (heated indoor/outdoor pools, as well as an eco-pool, sauna, treatment rooms, gym etc).
In our opinion Kingfishers House is perfect for families who are happy for their children to enjoy space and things to do, or for those who would like the peace and quiet outside school holiday times.
Customers clearly love it and a recent comment says:

There are two extra bunk beds available in this cottage, meaning that up to 8 people can stay (please see Kingfishers Cottage).

Lovely and quiet and the property has everything that you need for self catering. Really easy to find and lots of nice places to walk in the area so you don't really need your car once you have arrived. The owner was exceedingly helpful and very friendly.

We've stayed on the estate a number of times and really like this location as it is close to the outdoor pool, tennis court and small playground and yet feels very peaceful. It's only a short walk to the spa and Ballihoo, the onsite restaurant/ cafe. The cottage itself has everything we needed including dishwasher and washing machine. It's very comfortable and the beds have good mattresses. There is a log burner but we did not use it on this visit. I am sure we will be back!
