Among the many attractions in the area are the ruins of Duffield Castle and the Chevin Golf Club. Another historic town, Beaurepaire (meaning "beautiful refuge"), is located not far from Belper. It has a long and distinguished history that dates back to the 13th century and is still known by the name today. The North Mill, Long Row, and the River Gardens are just a few of the town's current attractions.

Really enjoyed our stay - very private and quiet despite being close to the train track. The food and drink provided by the owners was much appreciated especially as our flight was delayed ! Would definitely book again. Best Wishes Steve and Natalie

Everything we needed was there, including central heating, a heated bathroom floor, return lights on the stairs and in the living room, a working wood firebox, tv's everywhere with loads of selection choices for relaxing moments, and there were many other special touches that we appreciated very much. The neighbours were friendly, and the peace was palpable. The owners have made a very special effort to make guests comfortable.
