Boasting a delightful, brick-clad exterior, off-road parking, crisp interiors with well-preserved features throughout, this property welcomes a couple seeking a refreshing escape to the heart of rural Lincolnshire.The Asparagus shed is part of a working farm and as the name suggests was formally used for washing, grading and bunching asparagus ready to be sold. It is situated on a quiet lane with stunning views across to the large 13th century church. There are several country walks accessed directly from your door and the village pub, The Finch Hatton Arms, is just a short walk away.

If you can remove yourself from your tranquil new lodgings, be sure to explore some of what your local area has to offer after you’ve finished your morning coffee in the peaceful courtyard by first stopping into nearby Heckington, where you can stock up on supplies at the Co-Op, enjoy a pub lunch at the Royal Oak or a local beer at the 8 Sail Brewery next to the Heckington Windmill.

If you want to make a day of it the city of Lincoln is accessible by car, and home to attractions such as the stunning historical landmarks of Lincoln Cathedral and Lincoln Castle (including Magna Carta), the inspiring Bomber Command Centre and the wonderful Doddington Hall.

Heckington, a charming small village in the North Kesteven region of Lincolnshire, is home to a Grade I listed church and a windmill that hosts events and activities.
