Woodland View is a well-received cottage, praised for its cleanliness, peacefulness, and secure garden, particularly suitable for dogs. Guests appreciate the thoughtful touches, including a welcome cake, and the helpfulness of the owner, Mary. The property's rural charm and wildlife are noted, although its remote location requires self-sufficiency in entertainment.
Reviewers consistently mention the cottage's exceptional cleanliness, describing it as spotless and the cleanest they've ever stayed in. This indicates a very high standard of cleanliness maintained at the property.
The location is appreciated for its tranquility and proximity to wildlife, with some guests enjoying the lack of streetlights for stargazing. However, a few noted the remoteness and difficulty accessing local amenities, which slightly affects the score.
Guests find the cottage comfortable, with several mentioning comfy beds and a secure garden. The provision of fans during a heatwave and the spaciousness of the property contribute to the high comfort rating.
The cottage is well-equipped with kitchen utensils, and guests are satisfied with the amenities provided. Some guests mentioned intermittent Wi-Fi and a small upstairs shower, which slightly lowers the score.
Many reviews highlight the owner's thoughtfulness, including welcome treats such as cake. While these gestures are highly appreciated, it is politely noted that such personal touches, though common, are not guaranteed for every stay.

The only niggles were they could do with updating the sofas as the seating was quite uncomfortable and new pillows in the bedrooms as they were very thin and I ended up going out and buying my own. Perhaps a little TLC is needed with a lick of paint. This isnât a criticism as we did really enjoy staying there and would definitely return.
