The cottage was very clean and comfortable and well appointed with everything you need for a short stay. Lack of a freezer, for me , would be inconvenient if staying longer than three nights. The cottage is spacious and easily accommodated our group of four people without feeling we were getting in each others way, especially when we were all getting ready for a wedding. The village is lovely and the locals very friendly and we loved the very friendly sheep in the field next to the cottage. The local pub was very welcoming and served excellent food. Local walks were good too. All in all we had a lovely time and we enjoyed our stay at Avenue Croft.

Many interesting places to visit in the locality, but also well equipped for time spent indoors. Great hospitality from Lee and Dawn and loved the friendly welcome from the sheep.Would certainly recommend.

The owners couldn't do enough for you and the location was beautiful. There was plenty of equipment in the kitchen to cook although I would suggest that they provide a bit more cutlery and plates so you can have a set in the dish washer. The only comment my friends made who were in the twin room was that the sink in the bathroom was too small and the glass shelf needs to be moved. All in all a lovely break and I will certainly recommend this cottage.
