As the evening draws in, open the patio doors from the kitchen or bedroom to the rear decked garden, where you can relax at the table and chairs and think about the next adventure. When it’s time to rest, the king size bedroom includes a sofa bed for extra guests, and there is also a sofa bed in the sitting area, providing even more flexibility. Venture to Walton-on-the-Naze, a typical seaside resort boasting arcades, Britain's second largest pier, a bowling alley and watersport activities. Further afield, take a picturesque drive to Layer Marney Tower, a stunning manor house surrounded by picture-perfect gardens, where you can pause for afternoon tea before returning to your accommodation. Kirby Cross is a charming village located in the Tendring district of Essex. The village is home to its own shopping area known as the Kirby triangle, which has two small supermarkets and various other shopping facilities, whilst there are also a number of eateries, including pubs, restaurants and takeaways. Kirby Cross Station lies on the Walton branch of the Sunshine Coast Line in the East of England, provides links throughout Essex. Bordering with Kirby Cross is Kirby-Le-Soken, an attractive and historic village dating from Saxon times, whilst further afield lies Clacton-on-Sea, the largest town on the Essex coast, offering a traditional seaside atmosphere.
