After a day of adventure, enjoy a meal at one of the village pubs or restaurants in the village. Just 2 miles away is the town of Keswick, a vibrant market town on the banks of Derwentwater, featuring a variety of independent shops, pubs, restaurants, and cafes. Keswick also boasts a cinema and the Theatre by the Lake, perfect for the occasional lakeland rainy days. As you enter this charming cottage through the hallway, you will find the lounge with a cosy wood burner, oak beams, and comfortable sofas, perfect to curl up and relax after a long day exploring! There is an additional dining space on a circular table, or it can be used to plan the walks or activities for your stay. There is a TV/DVD player for everyone to enjoy. The property has lots of character from gorgeous oak beams to old arch barn windows overlooking the Coledale Horseshoe. The spacious kitchen is also off the hallway, it has an attractive local slate tiled floor and is well-equipped to allow you to prepare hearty breakfasts or celebratory evening meals. There is also a handy utility room with a washing machine and tumble dryer off the kitchen along with a downstairs WC. Head up to the first floor from the hallway, you will find three bedrooms and a family bathroom.
