Guests appreciate the thoughtful touches like welcome treats and find the property well-equipped for a comfortable stay. The access track's condition and some maintenance issues are noted concerns, but these do not detract significantly from the overall positive experiences.

Guests that stayed at this property said

The cottage receives high marks for cleanliness, with multiple reviews mentioning it was spotless and well-maintained. The attention to cleanliness contributes positively to guests' experiences.

The location is consistently lauded for its tranquility, beautiful views, and proximity to Keswick and walking trails. The only drawback mentioned is the condition of the access track, which is a concern for some guests.

Guests find the cottage comfortable, highlighting the quality of the bed and the peaceful environment. Some minor issues like a low-hanging lamp and a desire for more towels are noted, but overall comfort is rated highly.

The facilities are generally well-received, with the property being described as well-equipped. However, there are several comments about specific maintenance issues such as the driveway, light fixtures, and a humidifier for dampness, which suggest room for improvement.

Guests frequently mention and appreciate the thoughtful gestures such as welcome treats, which include scones, wine, and fresh flowers. It is politely noted that while these gifts are well-received, they are not guaranteed for every stay.

Everything you need for a perfect stay. Thanks a lot!

Extra special touches such as fresh scones, milk and a bottle of wine on our arrival where a pleasant surprise. The path upto the cottage is very uneven and narrow. This was the only negative. Our stay was amazingly comfortable and despite the usual wet weather we were situated in an area of beautiful views and close to all the tourist areas.
