Guests say

Longlands The Coach House is set in a beautiful, peaceful location with stunning grounds, ideal for dog owners and nature lovers. The property's rustic charm and the walled garden are frequently praised, and the friendly staff add to the welcoming atmosphere. While some guests find the decor dated, the unique setting often compensates for any shortcomings.

Reviews on cleanliness are mixed, with some guests finding the cottage clean, especially the bathroom, while others report issues with mustiness and pet odours. The inconsistency leads to a slightly above average score.

The location is highly praised for its beauty, tranquillity, and suitability for dogs, with easy access to local attractions and nature. The walled garden and surrounding countryside are particular highlights.

Guests have mixed feelings about comfort; some find the cottage cosy and the bed comfortable, while others criticise the furniture and suggest it is due for an update. The overall experience is deemed average.

Facilities and maintenance issues are a concern for several guests, with frequent mentions of inadequate hot water supply, dated furniture, and the need for a deep clean. These recurring problems result in a below-average score.

There is insufficient information regarding thoughtfulness, such as gifts or special touches provided by the host, to accurately assess this category. Therefore, the score is set to null.

We'll definitely be back to stay with you again, however if I may suggest to upgrades to the place on general. The driveway is only accessible with a 4 x 4 or a SUV, if I'd brought my other car, then it would have grounded on several areas of the drive from the main road. However, upmost importance is to have a mirror placed on the opposite side of the road at the entrance to the property. Twice I was almost involved in a collision simply because you cannot see along the road to safely pull out onto the road. Otherwise, what a stunning property and location. TY for our stay.

Settee very uncomfortable, no bath mat to stand on in the bath to shower water was very hot or cold to shower as it was joined to the taps no baking trays for the oven and vacuum cleaner to vacuum before leaving

But aren't we all! Quirky little house, great place for a long weekend! Great property the dog loved to be able to run around. The hot water takes a while but you get used to it.
