Guests say

Guests are generally pleased with the apartment's cleanliness, comfort, and stunning views. Its proximity to Ambleside and amenities is appreciated, though the steep approach is noted. The apartment is well-equipped and guests have enjoyed multiple stays, indicating a positive overall experience. Some maintenance issues are mentioned, but these do not detract from the overall satisfaction. Thoughtful touches like Christmas gifts have been well-received.

The apartment is frequently described as clean and well-maintained, with only a few isolated comments on minor cleanliness issues such as windows or a frying pan, which suggests high standards are generally upheld.

The location is highly praised for its proximity to the town centre and stunning views, despite the steep access. The convenience and quiet setting contribute to its high rating.

Comfort is well-regarded with mentions of a super comfy bed and well-stocked kitchen. Some reviews suggest that certain furniture could benefit from updates, slightly lowering the score.

Facilities are generally good, with a well-equipped kitchen and the bonus of parking. However, there are several comments on maintenance issues such as lighting and a non-working extractor fan, indicating room for improvement.

While guests have mentioned thoughtful gestures, such as Christmas gifts, these are not consistently referenced across reviews to accurately assess this category. It should be noted that such gestures, while appreciated, are not guaranteed.

We chose this apartment for a few years now for the above reasons. This year there was no sun-umbrella on the balcony and, because of the bright sun, we could not use it this year until the sun went down. Disappointingly, our request for one, was denied by the owner. We'll need to check this aspect before we book again next year. Overall, we feel comfortable in that apartment and would be sad to look for somewhere else. Anna Rufus

Thank you so much to the owners for the lovely gifts they left for Christmas, a lovely thought. Also the decorations were just right. We had a perfect stay.
