It's perfect for families and dogs, with a well-stocked kitchen and utility room for muddy boots. Guests appreciate the property's proximity to local facilities and walks, making it a repeat choice for many.

The property has received comments suggesting it could benefit from a deeper clean, with some guests noting the need to wash dishes and glasses before use. However, these remarks are not consistent across all reviews.

The location is highly praised for its convenience to local amenities and attractions in Ambleside, making it a strong point for the property. Parking issues are noted but do not detract significantly from the overall positive feedback on location.

Guests have repeatedly mentioned the need for better mattresses and more comfortable sofas, indicating room for improvement in comfort. Despite this, the spaciousness and homely feel of the property are appreciated.

The property is well-appointed with a good kitchen, but several guests have reported issues with non-working heated towel rails, problematic TV reception, and other maintenance concerns that need addressing.

There is no mention of gifts or special touches that would indicate thoughtfulness from the hosts. Therefore, this category cannot be scored.

The property is so well located for everything in Ambleside. The open plan kitchen and lounge are great for a week away so everyone is together even if someone is preparing meals. The new bathrooms and carpets are a really nice addition to the house having stayed here for the past 8 years. The weather was very mixed but it was great to come back to Malvern to dry everything off easily. We would love to return again next summer but it looks like the property will no longer be available to rent. We will be very sad not to return to our go to property in Ambleside ☹️☹️. Thanks for all the memories Malvern.

Everything you need. A real home from home. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. (Just to let you know, the front door mortice lock is really tricky to open. You may wish to take a look as we struggled to get in/out a couple of times).

Plenty of space and great to have the utility for muddy boots. However the gas fire was almost impossible to light, even with following the instructions and no matter how careful you are, the shower doors come off the rails in the first floor shower. Could do with some new pillows, as they’re very uncomfortable.
