The property's exterior cleanliness and maintenance have been highlighted as areas needing attention.

The lodge is generally kept very clean, with guests noting its cleanliness upon arrival. However, some guests mentioned that the exterior veranda and outdoor furniture were not as well-maintained, with debris and dirt accumulation.

The location is highly praised for its beautiful views and proximity to local amenities. It is considered a prime spot in Windermere, right on the lake edge, offering guests a serene and picturesque setting.

Over the next few days we had 9 different issues which I took pics of and expected to be quickly remedied. Three were fixed but the rest were left including no lighting in the walk-in wardrobe for which we needed a torch to see and an unusable dirty / rusted BBQ. As we had paid a lot of money for this Birthday treat we were very disappointed with Customer Service poor responses. We strongly recommend that Customer Services/Owner think more of customer satisfaction so as not to deter any future bookings. Our rating of this lodge is 6/10 at best (can’t fault the position of the lodge or that beautiful view)
