Underfell is a well-received cottage in a stunning location, praised for its comfort, beautiful views, and suitability for walking holidays. Guests appreciate the well-equipped kitchen, cosy bedrooms, and the extra space across three floors. The garden and parking have received mixed feedback, and some maintenance issues were noted, but overall, guests have had enjoyable stays and many would recommend the property.
Most guests found Underfell to be clean and tidy, with a few noting exceptional cleanliness. However, there were isolated comments about minor cleanliness issues such as crumbs and an olive on the window ledge, which slightly impacted the overall impression.
The location of Underfell is highly praised for its proximity to local walks and beautiful scenery. It is considered an ideal spot for exploring the Langdale area and the South Lakes, contributing to its high rating.
Guests have reported that the cottage is warm, homely, and the beds are comfortable. The presence of multiple bathrooms added to the comfort level. Some guests suggested improvements to the lounge furniture, indicating room for enhancement.
The property is appreciated for its well-equipped kitchen and the bonus of a drying cupboard. However, there are remarks about outdated information packs, a broken bench, and a need for better provisions for power cuts. Maintenance issues like leaky pipes and the need for defrosting the freezer were also mentioned.

Many thanks

The kitchen is amazingly equipped and the house is comfortable with lots of games and books to make a great stay. We did find the bathroom description not as what we expecting i.e. we were expecting an ensuite with shower so perhaps this needs rewording. The layout of the bathrooms also can make it a little tricky. Some maintenance could done with being completed too, very tight hot tap on WC by kitchen for example. All in though would recommend!

We love the location. It is unspoilt and lots of walks straight from the doorstep. However the furniture in living room is past its best with stains and worn. But other than that look forward to our next visit there.
