The bedrooms are served by two bathrooms, so you can choose whether you want to enjoy a relaxing soak in the bath or a quick refreshing shower to start your day. Outside there is ample off-road parking, as well as a large shared courtyard with picnic benches, further seating and a barbecue, perfect for taking advantage of the good weather. Explore your tranquil woodland surroundings, head to Windermere Lake, less than a mile away, for a pretty lakeside stroll, and venture to Hawkshead for a selection of shops, pubs and eateries. The lakes of Windermere and Coniston Water are just a few miles away, as is the National Trust's Hill Top, the 17th century farmhouse that was once home to author Beatrix Potter, while Grizedale Forest offers charming woodland walks and exhilarating tree top adventures. Grubbings is a fantastic base for exploring the best of the Lake District National Park.
