The House is beautifully set out and everything has been thought through, we even had ice cubes ready for us, which was super appreciated after a long drive!! The location is perfect, just a short walk into Bowness. We would definitely stay again without hesitation.

From booking to end of trip Rebecca and Phil were the perfect hosts , always quickly responsive and helpful. The quality of everything in the house was luxurious, the bedding was outstanding. The property was spotless and beautiful. Such a perfect location for a wonderful getaway, lots of great walks from your doorstep , situated in a quiet location and yet only 5 mins walk from everything you’ll need . Bowness has lots of restaurants, pubs , shops , museums, basically has something for everyone from young to old . Our favourites were - Bodega Tapas Bar, Gilpin Spice, The Westmorland Inn for a tasty Sunday lunch , The Old John Peel Inn was a real pub with lovely friendly landlady Claire , made us feel so welcome. We had our dog with us and almost everywhere is dog friendly, treats everywhere we went . Highly recommend for anyone wanting to get away for a truly wonderful time, we will definitely be back, thank you Rebecca and Phil
