Snaptrip says

Guests consistently praise the Hazel - Woodland Cottages for its cleanliness, spaciousness, and excellent location close to Bowness. The property's well-equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, and hot tub are frequently highlighted as key features. The serene setting and wildlife visits add to the charm. While minor maintenance issues are noted, the overall experience is highly recommended for large groups and families.

Guests that stayed at this property said

Reviewers are highly impressed with the cleanliness of the property, often describing it as outstanding. The attention to cleanliness contributes significantly to the positive guest experience.

The property's location is frequently praised for being close to Bowness and within easy reach of local attractions. Its proximity to the lake and shops, along with the tranquil surroundings, are appreciated by guests.

Comfort is a strong point for this property, with guests finding the beds super comfy and the space very accommodating for large groups. However, a suggestion to upgrade sofas for better back support indicates a slight room for improvement.

Facilities like the well-fitted kitchen and en-suite bathrooms are well-received, though some minor maintenance issues and a lack of detailed instructions for appliances have been pointed out. The hot tub is a standout feature that guests thoroughly enjoy.

While guests mention thoughtful touches like homemade scones on arrival, there is not enough consistent reference to gifts or special attention to guests' needs to accurately score this category. It should be noted that such gestures, while appreciated, may vary and are not guaranteed.

We visited as a large family group for my fathers 60th birthday and had a great stay. The cottage was enjoyed by us all including the hot tub. Great location to Windermere and lovely local walks.

Very large, well equipped house with loads of room for a family up to 12 people. The cleanliness was second to non and I’ve never slept in such a comfy bed in any holiday cottage before. The hot tub was a fabulous addition too. The surrounding area is beautiful and just nicely out of Bowness so very quiet. Nothing was too much trouble for the owners, we ordered pies from a local shop for our first night and they were already in the freezer when we arrived. Cannot recommend this place enough. Wonderful!

The accommodation itself was well appointed and maintained. The kitchen was well equipped. The staff were so accommodating and welcoming, special thanks to Sarah for going above and beyond to help us!
