Everything went smoothly, the lodge was cleaned to the highest standard, had everything we needed! Hot tub was amazing! Would definitely recommend! Thank you

Lodge is really lovely and we would definitely return. There a some minor things however that could be improved. Overall cleanliness is 'Good' but on accessing the lodge we found 7 spiders (some large) in the lounge/kitchen and more in the bedrooms, there were a lot of ceiling cobwebs which could be avoided by using a feather duster after every stay, the bottom of fridge freezer and the bottom basket hadn't been cleaned and the kitchen cupboard next to it needed wiping. Although it is accommodation that allows dogs which we were very grateful for, the smaller bedroom had an odour which may have been due to dogs, maybe clean the carpets monthly? The inside of the window frame was also dirty and just needed a wipe. The hoover did also smell of dogs but I appreciate efforts have gone into trying to avoid this. Also we couldn't see a BBQ plinth which would have been nice during the hot weather, Hot tub was lovely. We would give the lodge 9/10 and rectifying the above would bring it up to a well deserved 10.
