Snowdrop Cottage is a stunning mid-terrace cottage, located in Bowness-on-Windermere, just a short walk from the shops, restaurants and lake. Perfect for those wishing to park the car and easily access all Bowness and Windermere have to offer just a short walk away. Located in the heart of the Lake District National Park, Snowdrop Cottage is a pretty and contemporary setting for your next family adventure, within easy reach of Windermere and Ambleside. Upon entering the property, there is an inviting living/dining room, with large bay window allowing in plenty of light, plus a spacious dining table situated beside the woodburning stove, making a lovely place to enjoy an evening meal with your loved ones. After dinner, grab a spot on the sofa and flick on the gas fire as you watch television and relax. Continuing into the well-equipped kitchen, assisting you with your self-catering needs, whether you are cooking up a storm or preparing a picnic, there is also a handy dishwasher and washing machine. Moving upstairs, there is a gorgeous king-size bedroom with a feature fireplace and white furnishings, giving the space a homely feel. Enjoy the inviting twin bedroom with a marvellous feature fireplace and storage to unpack any personal belongings, as well as a well-lit bathroom with the choice of bath and shower, and a ring-light mirror. Close to shops and cafes, and all transport links yet tucked away in a quiet location. We only used the car once during our stay; frequent buses are available to visit a lot of places. To visit Hilltop Farm (Beatrix Potterâs home) itâs a walk and ferry ride but there are buses too for weary legs. The house itself was clean and comfortable; smallest bathroom Iâve seen but added benefit of dressing room nearby. Sunny little courtyard garden most of the day.

We didnât do any cooking in the house but the kitchen appliances were all top brand. The house is in a perfect location. It is within walking distance of Bowness and Windermere with a great choice of restaurants and pubs. You can also walk to the lake and take a boat trip. Itâs only a short drive to many other lovely villages and towns such as Grassmere. We had a wonderful stay in Snowdrop cottage and I would fully recommend it!

5mbs at best during our stay. No good if like our stay itâs raining and you want to stream a movie. Other than that the cottage is perfect and the well equipped kitchen was perfect for our needs. Clean and comfortable with excellent central heating.
