Guests say

Guests consistently praise Little Lodge for its cleanliness, comfort, and welcoming atmosphere. The hot tub is a highlight, and the property's location is appreciated for its tranquility and proximity to local attractions. Hosts Emma and Paul receive commendations for their friendliness and helpfulness, contributing to a memorable stay.

Reviewers frequently mention the lodge's cleanliness, describing it as 'super clean', 'lovely and clean', and 'very clean'. This indicates a high standard of cleanliness that guests are very satisfied with.

The lodge's location is praised for being great for exploring the area, with mentions of nearby walks, beaches, and a friendly local pub. The peaceful setting in the woods is also appreciated, although no specific negative comments provide a contrast.

Comfort is a recurring theme, with guests finding the lodge 'extremely comfortable', 'cosy', and 'relaxing'. The presence of a hot tub adds to the comfort level, although one mention of a sofa bed being suitable only for close family slightly lowers the score.

Facilities are generally well-received, with the hot tub being a standout feature. However, there are a few mentions of minor issues such as a baking tray not fitting the oven and a small shower, suggesting room for improvement.

While guests speak highly of the hosts' welcoming nature and helpfulness, there are no specific mentions of gifts or extra thoughtful touches that would fall under this category. Therefore, a score cannot be provided.

About this property

Later, step outside to soak up the last of the sun at the furniture on the decking, or delight in a soothing soak in the blow up hot tub. When the sky darkens, head inside and sink into the plush sofas while the TV plays and the electric fire warms the rooms. Grand merchant houses, art galleries, museums, and Henry Bell's 1683 Custom House—all Grade I listed—make the town a history buff's dream. In addition to the town's original winding streets and alleys, which have been preserved, shoppers will find a mix of national and specialised retailers, as well as a number of pubs and restaurants. The West Norfolk coastline is only a short drive away, as is much of the surrounding Norfolk countryside, which has been designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. For its sunsets and beaches, Hunstanton is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Norfolk. Several locations along the coast offer boat trips, and the Norfolk Coast Cycleway connects King's Lynn with Cromer.
