Guests say

Guests are delighted with The Ship, praising its well-appointed nature, comfortable amenities, and excellent location in Wells-next-the-Sea. The property's attention to detail and thoughtful touches, such as a well-equipped kitchen and extra storage, contribute to a comfortable and memorable stay. Despite a minor issue with ants, the cleanliness is generally appreciated, and the property's charm and convenience make it a highly recommended choice for a holiday retreat.

The property is generally described as spotlessly clean with many guests satisfied with the level of cleanliness. However, one mention of an ant problem slightly lowers the score.

The location is consistently praised for being perfect, peaceful, and private while still being close to local amenities and the quayside, making it a highly valued aspect of the property.

Guests find the beds comfortable and the property spacious, with special mentions of the 'Crow's Nest' and the first-floor deck as highlights for relaxation and comfort.

The property is well-equipped with a kitchen, storage for bikes and pushchairs, and comfortable lounge seating. One review suggests the need for pre-heating the house, indicating room for improvement in maintenance.

Many reviews note extra thoughtful touches, such as a welcome pack and a well-equipped kitchen with a slow cooker. While these gifts are greatly appreciated, they are not guaranteed for every stay.

Lovely house and fantastic location. House does need heating prior to guest arrival though. Upstairs bedroom steps very steep.

The location was excellent - right by the quay in Wells and near to the main shopping street. The cottage was quirky and interesting, on several different levels and with fascinating history. It was extremely well equipped and comfortable - a great place in a lovely part of the country.

Perfect location for enjoying all that Wells has to offer. The parking space outside the property was a real bonus. Easy flat walking around the harbour, the town and along to the stunning beach. The property is very quiet considering how close it is to the hustle and bustle of the quayside. First floor deck is a lovely place to enjoy the sunshine. So many places to eat and drink within walking distance. Beds are extremely comfortable, spacious property with everything you need. Thanks for a wonderful stay.
