Guests say

Rectory Barn is a well-received holiday cottage in Norfolk, praised for its beauty, spaciousness, and peaceful setting. Guests appreciate the property's suitability for both families and couples, highlighting the well-equipped nature and the added bonus of a playground nearby. While some concerns were raised about cleanliness and comfort, the overall sentiment is positive, with many looking forward to returning.

Most reviews do not mention cleanliness issues, suggesting general satisfaction. However, one review cites a need for a deep clean and mentions a damp smell, which impacts the score.

The location is consistently described as peaceful and lovely, with a nearby playground adding to its appeal. No negative comments about the location were provided.

The property is generally considered comfortable and relaxing. However, one review mentions uncomfortable beds and a lack of blinds for a skylight, which slightly lowers the score.

Facilities like the games table and board games are positively mentioned, and the property is described as well-equipped. However, there are concerns about the adequacy of the fridge/freezer and parking for larger groups, and no specific mention of maintenance issues. Without more information, a precise score cannot be given.

The provision of a welcome pack and the availability of games are seen as thoughtful touches. While such gestures are appreciated, it should be noted that these are not guaranteed for every stay.

Beautiful, spacious, well equiped in quiet area

  • Mrs Jeffs

Lovely spacious barn in a nice quiet area. The Welcome pack was a nice touch. We enjoyed the games table and the many board games available. The only issues were the parking as only one space and the fridge was too small for a group of 6.

  • Mrs Laura Handley

The barn could do with a thorough deep clean and get the damp sorted. The smell was overpowering we ended up buying several air fresheners to mask the smell during our stay. Beds very uncomfortable and skylight in the bedroom could have done with a blind or similar. On the plus side the garden was great and the barn very spacious. For 6 people the fridge/freezer/parking situation isn’t adequate
