Met all our requirements. Comfortable, roomy, the sky deck was awesome but just lost the evening sun due to the trees. (Canât control the sun, ). Only suggestion would be an Inventry of equipment, like there were no tongs for cooking. Otherwise perfect, thanks.

Beautiful views of the garden and surrounding woodland from the balcony, seeing squirrels and rabbits. Folly lodge is beautiful. Lovely little welcome pack

Just ten minutes drive from the delightful town of Barnard Castle. The property had a nice entrance area with space to store some gear and stairs to main accommodation. There is a nice second bedroom which we used for storage and the main living area with a very well equipped kitchen and comfortable lounge area. The thing that attracted us was the huge balcony/deck area outside which has a table and chairs and view over the garden and woodland. On the top floor is the lovely main bedroom which is very spacious. Guests are free to roam the woodland and use the firepit which is a wonderful way to spend an evening. There are lots of things to do in the area. If you need supplies there are many shops in Barnard Castle but look online for the farm shop with the Camels! I'd also highly recommend a ride on the Weardale Railway and the Teesside Princess cruise from Stockton on Tees.
