A lovely week away with friends at Apple Tree Barn. We had visits to Wallington, Beamish, Cragside, and Ford & Etal villages. We had lots of beach walks. The weather has been great for the time of year but even so we had to have a real fire! Excellent cottage with everything we needed. Thank you for a lovely stay.

The cottage is fabulous! Extremely clean and very comfortable. We were very lucky to have excellent weather and were able to sit out in the garden. Wonderful views, quiet and relaxing! The facilities in the cottage were also excellent and the owner is very thoughtful and easy to contact if we needed her. We will be booking again for certain. Cannot recommend highly enough! The quality of the welcome basket was amazing.

Fantastic accommodation with everything you could ask for! Nice big rooms which were excellently presented with the added bonus of a large enclosed garden for our dog, and us, to enjoy. The summer house was an added bonus where we could sample a bottle of wine looking out over the fields watching the sun go down. This is one of the best places we have stayed in. It was like a home rather than a holiday rental. It was a property you could move straight into and call home. It was exactly what we look for when choosing a place to stay. That’s what made it stand out for us. A lovely rural and quiet location but close enough to amenities. Both of us have been very impressed from the start to the end. It all felt very personal to us.
