Snaptrip says

Mill View in Alnwick, Northumberland, is a well-regarded apartment with stunning views and convenient access to local walks and beaches. Guests appreciate the spacious, comfortable accommodation and the added luxury of a balcony and swimming pool. While some minor maintenance issues and a lack of certain amenities are noted, the overall experience is positive, with many guests planning return visits.

Guests that stayed at this property said

The apartment generally receives high praise for cleanliness, though a few guests noted areas where dust and cleanliness were below expectations. These seem to be isolated incidents rather than a common trend.

The location is highly praised for its beautiful views, proximity to the sea, and walking opportunities right from the doorstep. It is considered an excellent base for exploring Northumberland.

The apartment is described as comfortable, with a particularly large and comfortable bed noted. However, some guests mentioned issues with seating comfort and bedroom accessibility, slightly affecting the overall comfort score.

Facilities like the swimming pool are appreciated, but comments about the lack of laundry facilities, the need for better kitchen equipment, and minor maintenance issues suggest room for improvement.

There is no mention of gifts or special thoughtful touches provided by the hosts in the reviews, so it is not possible to assess this category.

Nothing in the description stating that this would be the case and we were told by the owner that it could not be switched off. The pool showers were leaking and poorly maintained. Most importantly, the hot water, both in the apartment and the pool showers were hot enough to scald someone. Cutlery was very cheap and horrible to use!

We were lucky enough to get sunny weather which meant we could sit out on the terrace enjoying the views of the sea. The accommodation had everything we could possible need with the added bonus of a sparklingly clean pool. I also loved the mown track through the fields towards the sea. We hope to be back in the future.
