Located on an incline to benefit from views of Bamburgh Castle, Awarded 4 Stars with Gold Award by Visit England, this cottage is all single storey. There is private parking, an enclosed garden, electric fire and Wagtail Cottage is pet-free. You can walk into the centre of Bamburgh village in around 20 minutes. Wagtail Cottage at Bamburgh is single storey, all on one level. The front door opens into a spacious hallway, with the open plan lounge/kitchen/dining area, bedroom and bathroom all leading from the entrance hallway. There is an outdoor seating area at the front of the property by the driveway, with table and chairs for 2, and private parking for 1 car. Wagtail Cottage is unable to accept children, or pets but accepts up to one infant.

Lovely cottage in a lovely location with everything we needed. We arrived late so it was great to have the essentials for a cup of coffee and breakfast.

This cottage is beautiful, it is warm, cosy and spotlessly clean. It is equipped with everything you need and more. Our hosts made us feel very welcome. Bamburgh is a stunning location and coupled with Wagtail Cottage makes for a perfect holiday.

The furnishings, decor and layout of the cottage was perfect, we couldn’t have asked for better. We had everything we needed in terms of kitchen appliances, crockery, cutlery and cleaning products. The welcome basket was ideal for the first couple of breakfasts and the bottle of wine and cupcakes were also a nice touch. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wouldn’t change anything.
