The property is well located for Bamburgh’s shops, cafes, pubs and of course, the beach - all a short walk away. Don’t miss the Grace Darling Museum and of course the iconic Bamburgh Castle. Take a boat trip to the Farne Islands to view sea birds and grey seals from Seahouses (3 miles) and Holy Island and the nature reserve of Budle Bay are both a short drive away.

I have had the pleasure of staying at the Wynding house on several occasions now and I can honestly say it is one of the gems of the northeast coast. We arrived at a spotless house with a fantastic garden, an amazing view of the castle and a back door route through the sandy dunes to the gorgeous beach which includes no roads/street crossings, perfect for dogs and/or children to access the beach with safety. It also has free Wi-Fi and some lovely living areas. All in all, it is a lovely place to stay, and I am grateful we have had the opportunity to do so.

Lovely big house, perfect for the extended family or a group of friends to share. Lounge with open fire was perfect. Great location - our dogs didn’t even need to go on a lead to get down to the beach and kids could just walk out of the back door and they were at the playground.
