Snaptrip says

Eider Cottage is consistently praised for its cleanliness, comfort, and prime location for exploring Northumberland. Guests appreciate the well-equipped facilities and the cosy atmosphere, particularly during winter. Personal touches and a welcome pack contribute to a warm reception, although the provision of such gifts is not guaranteed. Some minor issues are noted, but overall, the cottage offers a delightful stay.

Guests that stayed at this property said

Guests frequently mention the spotless condition of the cottage upon arrival, indicating a high standard of cleanliness.

The cottage is lauded for its great location, ideal for exploring the surrounding area, and its quiet, picturesque setting.

The majority of reviews highlight the comfortable furnishings and beds, though one review mentions hard and flat pillows, slightly lowering the score.

Facilities are generally well-received, with a well-equipped kitchen and good Wi-Fi. However, some out-of-date information and a query about heating suggest room for improvement.

While guests mention a welcome pack and personal touches, there is not enough consistent detail about the thoughtfulness of the host to accurately score this category.

Great cottage in a quiet location. If visiting the area again would definitely look to return.

A lovely cottage in a lovely location. We enjoyed our stay and enjoyed this cosy cottage very much once we had mastered the log burner and storage heating. Despite it being January, we had some beautiful walks on the coast. We loved the area and our meal at The Potted Lobster, just a couple of miles away, was excellent. You do need to book.

The cottage is comfortable and the kitchen is well resourced ( plenty of plates/pots etc) however we found the mattresses in the single beds very very soft. These are in need of replacement. Communication with the owners was poor as we messaged about a drawer in the kitchen breaking it and we had no response at all. Very disappointing
