The house which is a newish built property was immaculate, luxurious and very comfortable including the beds. It was spacious, well laid out and the kitchen in particular was exceedingly well equipped. It was a such a pleasure to stay there. It was in a very good and central location for seeing the wonderful sights of Northumberland. We made visits to Bamburgh, Craster and Dunstanburgh castle and Lindisfarne, Alnmouth , Alnwick and the National Trust property Cragside amongst others. There is lots to see and do and it is such a beautiful area especially the stunning beaches and coast. We enjoyed our stay very much and would definitely recommend both the house and the area.

Driftwood was a real home from home. The perfect location to explore the Northumberland coastal route and all it has to offer. Well equipped and a great size for a large family. Looking forward to a return visit already.

Driftwood was the best appointed cottage we have ever stayed in, there was an abundance of equipment and it was wonderfully clean and well kept throughout. The beds were comfortable and the pillows, allowing a wonderful night's sleep, it's well situated to get to most places in Northumberland, but a car is essential, it was a relaxing week and a great opportunity to unwind.
