3 pubs withing 2 min walk property is warm and welcoming with all appliances needed. Parking is a real problem, to find a note with 'Parking for one small car...' was poor we parked within 2 inches of the house and wall which only just allowed neighbours access to their gate (Should they have a gate?) normally would have had to reverse car out of very tight back alley, luckily car out back was gone so enabled us to quickly reverse round onto their property to turn our car round. Every other property seems to have a designated space why not this one? Minor things - Paper thin walls & floors offered no sound barrier & pine in living room and bedrooms was tacky (just my opinion) Stonework was nice. All in All if parking was sorted we would be happy to return regulally!

It was in a great location and had everything we needed for a week stay. The only slight niggle was the parking. The property was advertised as having a designated parking space but thereâs no information about where this is. On arrival I reversed around the back of the property and was met with multiple signs (presumably put up by the neighbour) all of which giving instruction on where not to and how not to park. These signs actually made things more confusing. It would have been helpful to have a little sign from the cottage themselves indicating where to park and actually putting the information in the guest book or on the email with key safe code etc. I saw on a previous review online where the owner of the cottage had responded to a comment about parking by saying that information for parking was in the guest booklet but it actually isnât. I picked this particular cottage on this occasion because it had a parking space as I was on holiday with my elderly mother who would struggle with walking too far. I expected the space to be small but I was surprised that even my Mini just fit within the space. Overall, we had a lovely week at the cottage and I would definitely book again regardless of the small space to park in.

The cottage has shared parking at the rear. We have not even got out of the car when the rear neighbour was out berating us about where we can park and even threatening to damage our car to get hers out if we were not far enough over. Created a very bad atmosphere for our whole break. My advise would be donât book unless you are in a fiat 500
