Only slight draw back is no enclosed area for the dog. But the beach is 50m away. As we travelled a long way a Saturday change over would have been beneficial because of the traffic We had a great time and would definitely recommend it

Only thing missing which isn't possible is a gated area to let the dogs out . But this isn't a major issue seeing as you are a 1 minutes walk to the harbour. I loved seeing the sea from the pavement just outside the house. We loved that there are plenty of restaurants/pubs to choose from . The property is ideal as its far enough from the hussle and bussle of main street . Fri,Saturday and Sunday nights are a bit noisy as the music from the Schooner Inn across the road can be a bit much but is finished by 11 p.m . We will definitely be back . We were treated to a fantastic sunset one night it was amazing over Bamburgh and Holy Island . Book this property and you won't be disappointed if you are then ...... I despair

Discovered hot kipper rolls from Swallow Fish, perfect for lunch. Only negative was that, although recommended for dogs, there was no closed off area, back yard etc., so had to walk them out at 5am every morning. Not really a chore as we didn't have any rain but would have been if it was wet, a little more explanation would have helped our choice.
