Lane End Cottage in Warkworth is a sensitively restored 19th century cottage, located next to the riverbank with river views from most of the windows. An abundance of wildlife can be seen from the cottage or from a seat on the riverbank next to the cottage. Seals at high tide, herons, foxes, swans and ducks, salmon leaping, returning terns and kingfishers can be seen.
Many of our guests take glass of wine and sit on the riverbank just outside the cottage on balmy summer evenings before strolling to one of Warkworth‘s lovely restaurants and pubs for a bite to eat.
Lane End Cottage is beautifully furnished and very well equipped, with a wood-burning stove and Nespresso coffee machine, super-king bed as well as many more luxurious ‘home comforts’.

Lane End is such a beautiful cottage in an amazing riverside location! Warkworth is a beautiful village and a great base to explore Northumberland from. We did three coastal walks and had lovely meals in The Masons Arms. The welcome hamper was lovely and also the doggy hamper! Thank you Coquet Cottages, we have had a fantastic stay.

Lovely, cosy cottage in a great location for exploring the beach. Fab food and drinks at The Masons Arms. Wonderful food at The Fish Shack in Amble. Everything was absolutely delicious. We will be back! Thank you for the Easter egg and flowers.
