Guests have reported dust and cobwebs, suggesting room for improvement in cleanliness. However, these issues are seen as easily rectifiable.

The cottage is described as private, comfortable, and well-equipped, providing a high standard of accommodation. Underfloor heating is a notable comfort feature.

Facilities are generally well-regarded, though there are comments about the need for more cutlery and the weight of crockery. A minor issue with heating was promptly addressed by the owners.

There is no mention of gifts or special attention to guest needs beyond the prompt fixing of a heating issue, so it is not possible to score thoughtfulness in this context.

Dust and cobwebs everywhere. Leak from gutter, meaning everytime you entered or left, a drip fell on you. No proper kitchen waste bin, which made it difficult. Shower mat was a bit disgusting. Could have done with some more cutlery, and the crockery plates and dishes were far too heavy. Underfloor heating worked well, and all the above could be easily sorted

We'll equipped and of a high standard. I will certainly be returning, and look forward to meeting the owners again. If you haven't been to this part of the world before, Cheshire is a great place to explore and a superb base for Wales the Peak District and beyond.
