Dragon's Den is a well-regarded apartment in Chester, praised for its cleanliness, comfortable furnishings, and convenient location. Guests appreciate the thoughtful touches from the host, including complimentary essentials. While some mention minor issues with low ceilings and road noise, the overall sentiment is positive, with many expressing a desire to return.
The property consistently receives high praise for its cleanliness, with multiple reviews highlighting its tidy and well-maintained state. This suggests a high standard of cleanliness that guests appreciate.
The location is frequently described as convenient, with easy access to local shops, Chester centre, and public transport. Some guests note the proximity to the city and pleasant walking routes, although a few mention road noise and distance from the station.
Guests find the property comfortable, likening it to a 'home from home' with fast wifi and good TV. The provision of a garden and the overall spaciousness add to the comfort, despite some comments about sloped ceilings and firm sofas.
While guests are generally satisfied with the facilities, including the well-equipped kitchen and the availability of hot water, there are remarks about missing items like a DVD player and the need for updated rubbish disposal instructions. Due to the mixed feedback and lack of consistent detail, a precise score cannot be provided.
The host's thoughtfulness is well-received, with mentions of a welcome pack and useful local advice. However, as these gifts are not guaranteed for every stay, they are a delightful bonus rather than a standard expectation.

The velux windows meant the apartment was a pleasant airy space even though our stay was during very hot weather. It made a very good base for our stay in Chester - thank you very much.

Ideally place for Chester Town and very quiet. The owner, Chris , was friendly and helpful. The only thing I can say on a personal like/dislike is I found the Sofa really uncomfortable. Just my opinion. Everything else was great . We all had a great stay . I would definitely recommend.

Bus stop 4 mins walk away or city centre about 25 mins . Close to the motorway to North Wales . We had a day in Liverpool on the train via bus from outside property straight to the station and regular trains. Next day we travelled to the North Welsh coast by car very easy . Last day a morning in Chester walking the walls and shopping and eating -very enjoyable. Will definitely be back and will recommend to everyone I know .
