Guests say

Poplar Farm Studio is a well-equipped and maintained cottage in Chester, appreciated for its cleanliness, hot tub, and scenic views. The property offers a comfortable stay with a touch of luxury, though some guests noted privacy concerns due to nearby business activities. Its location is convenient for exploring Chester and the surrounding areas.

The property is generally praised for its cleanliness, with guests finding it tidy upon arrival. However, one review mentioned an issue with spiders, which slightly impacts the score.

The location is appreciated for its proximity to Chester city centre and the remote setting. However, the presence of nearby businesses and the associated noise has affected some guests' perception of privacy and tranquillity.

Guests have found the accommodation comfortable with a special mention of the hot tub. However, concerns about noise from adjacent businesses and the layout of the property, including bathroom accessibility, have been raised.

The facilities, including the hot tub and broadband, are well-received. Maintenance issues like the difficulty with the main back door key and the size of towels have been noted, leading to a slightly reduced score.

While guests have mentioned a welcome gift of prosecco and biscuits, as this is not consistently referenced across reviews, it cannot be guaranteed for all stays. Therefore, the score is set to null.

The hot tub was amazing as was the balcony with its lovely view! Providing towels for the hot tub was also a great bonus! Location is perfect a close drive to Chester zoo, Cheshire oaks, blue planet aquarium etc The park and ride was less than a 10 min drive away to get into Chester which was also great. The owners were lovely when we messaged about a query about the travel cot and they answered straight away. We were initially worried about the business on site as we stayed Monday to Friday there was a little bit of noise every so often but it was not enough to bother us. The only recommendation would be to have another arm chair in the downstairs lounge as someone always had to sit on the dining room chair which wasn’t comfortable for longer periods. As a family we all enjoyed our stay and would recommend this house to others and would book again!
