Guests are highly satisfied with the immaculate condition and spaciousness of the lodge, enjoying the stunning lake views and private hot tub. The location is praised for its tranquillity and proximity to attractions like Chester Zoo and Knowsley Safari Park. While the lodge offers a comfortable stay with clean beds and towels, minor feedback includes the need for additional consumables and clearer instructions for appliances.
Reviews consistently mention the property being immaculate and spotlessly clean, indicating a high standard of cleanliness throughout the lodge.
The lodge's location is frequently described as ideal, with beautiful lake views and easy access to local attractions, although one mention of a busy road nearby slightly impacts the score.
Guests find the lodge comfortable, noting the quality of the beds, linen, and the peaceful environment. The presence of a hot tub adds to the comfort level.
Facilities are generally well-received, especially the hot tub and kitchen. However, some guests experienced issues with e-keys and suggested improvements like providing hand soap and clearer appliance instructions.
While guests appreciate the amenities provided, there is no mention of gifts, and thus it is not possible to assess the thoughtfulness in terms of gifts. It is important to note that gifts, if provided, are a bonus and not guaranteed.

Beautiful lodge, cosy, comfort and great location. We packed literally everything apart from the kitchen sink and it was all provided at the lodge for us, so we where made up, to see pans, cutlery etc. We definitely will be booking again in the future. One of my favourite places to go now. Thank you
Selina
The lodge is spotlessly clean with comfortable beds, crisp laundry and soft towels. We loved the hot tub (which is clean and serviced), the lakeside pontoon and the proximity to Delamere Forest. The walk to the nearest pub was along a very busy road so we chose to drive for dinner a bit further away on the Sunday. We ate in on other nights - well equipped kitchen. Totally agree with other reviews... Please provide handsoap and a spare toilet roll!! (And washing machine instructions as we couldnât work out how to use the dryer)

Our time spent at this property was wonderful! The setting was perfect, with lovely surroundings and convenient access to neighbouring attractions. The cabin had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, was immaculately clean, and was well-maintained. After a day of exploring, the living areas.Â
