This imposing semi-detached property has a stunning interior, off-road parking and even a hot tub; the perfect setting for large family gatherings or groups of friends looking to explore the wonders of Cumbria. Cross the threshold into your new home-from-home and head straight into the fully-equipped kitchen where you can help prepare delicious meals that the whole family can enjoy in the formal dining room with enough seats for everyone! On sunny evenings you could indulge in an alfresco affair before taking advantage of the house’s amenities which include an external games room with pool table and a hot tub where you can savour a soothing soak and marvel as the stars fill the sky over Cumbria. On colder nights, gather the family in the welcoming sitting room where the crackling woodburing stove greets you and enjoy a well-earned family film night on the Smart TV before washing off the day’s adventures in either the lower-ground-floor bathroom, the bathroom on the first floor or the shower room on the second. At the southern end of the main street, above the river Ehen, are the ruins of the Norman castle. There are a variety of places to worship, buy, eat, and enjoy the arts. Ennerdale Water, located near Cleater, is the most westerly and, arguably, tranquil lake in the National Park. St. Bees is a picturesque fishing community that serves as the starting point for Wainwright's "Coast to Coast" Walk. It is home to a Norman priory, an Elizabethan public school, a nine-hole golf course, and numerous local watering holes. St. Bees Head, named for the nearby town of the same name, is Cumbria's only stretch of Heritage coastline and a Site of Special Scientific Interest. Walking opportunities abound, both along the clifftops and on the beach below. Further up this stunning coast lies Whitehaven, a sophisticated Georgian port that sits between the shimmering sea and the Lakeland Fells. The house was perfect for a big family 5min drive to a lovely beach The local fish and chips was really nice only 5 min walk away 5 min walk from the castle The games room Is a great addition especially if you get caught out on a rainy day

The house was great with both an old building and a new extension. The kitchen was something else! So much cupboard space! I would have liked to more about the old part of the house as it looked so interesting. Everyone really enjoyed the hot tub. Sometimes there was a queue!

Everyone enjoyed the hot tub and the games room. Lovely house with everything we needed for a great time. I would recommend it to anyone who needed a big house for all their family. St Bees was lovely and just a short journey further up the road.
