Snaptrip says

Amber Cottage in Grange-Over-Sands is highly praised for its cosy warmth, well-equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, and beautiful garden. Guests appreciate its convenient location for exploring the Lake District and the presence of nearby amenities. While some minor cleanliness issues and parking challenges are noted, the overall sentiment is that the cottage offers a homely and enjoyable stay.

Guests that stayed at this property said

Most guests found Amber Cottage to be immaculate and well-presented. There were a few mentions of dust and cobwebs, suggesting room for improvement, but these did not significantly detract from the overall experience.

The cottage's location is frequently commended for its proximity to local pubs, shops, and scenic walks. Its position is ideal for both local exploration and wider adventures in the Lake District, contributing to its high rating.

Guests consistently mention the comfort of the cottage, highlighting the cosy living area and comfortable king-size bed. A suggestion for additional footstools and comments on overly warm duvets during hot weather slightly affect the score.

The cottage is celebrated for being well-equipped, with a special mention of the kitchen. However, some guests noted issues with parking, shower power, and a desire for updated decor and a more powerful vacuum cleaner.

While many reviews express appreciation for the cottage's amenities and the owners' attention to detail, there is no specific mention of gifts or extra thoughtful touches that would warrant a score in this category.
