The kitchen had everything you'd need including a thoughtful welcome pack. Having Sky sports was a real bonus for those less mobile to get to the pub to watch the football. The views from the balcony were stunning and the house was clean, comfortable and a great base to explore the surrounding area. We enjoyed it so much we booked for next year.

We have never stayed in a holiday rental before where everything was so perfect and the owners have thought of every little detail to make it like a 'home from home' stay. No one from our party wanted to leave this beautiful home. Its also in an excellent location, shops, restaurants, coffee shops, takeaways all within easy walking distance. Finally, that view is just breath taking. We are already talking about returning. Big thank you to the owners for the lovely welcome pack, it was very much appreciated x

This house had everything, the views, the comfort, the activities, the amenities, lots of space, clean and homely. We were a party of 13 and there was plenty of room for everyone. Big plus for me was that the kitchen had everything you needed (I really neednât have packed the kitchen sink)!!! We baked, we cooked, we Bbqâd, we sat outside on an evening toasting marshmallows on the fire pit, played Pool, table football, chess, large connect four, table tennis, shot some hoops and had a blast on the swings, slide and trampoline. We will definitely be returning here because as well as all the above it is a great base for exploring the Lake District. Hosts were easy to communicate with and we felt very welcome.
