Soulby 1 mile. An outstanding semi-detached, stone-built cottage, located a mile from the village of Soulby, and just three miles from the market town of Kirkby Stephen. Surrounded by farm meadows and rolling pastures, Cherry Tree Cottage has been converted from a wing of the original farmhouse. The cottage features a cosy main bedroom, spacious sitting room, delightful kitchen, modern bathroom, and an enclosed courtyard, which is ideal for dining alfresco. Nearby Kirkby Stephen offers a wide array of shops, restaurants, and pubs, while the Settle-Carlisle Railway, the Howgill Fells, and the majestic Pendragon Castle - of Arthurian Legend - are all close by. A wonderful location, ideal for a romantic break, or a fabulous touring base, with both the Lake District and Dales National Parks within easy reach.

The quality of the bedding and bathroom towels are excellent, spotlessly clean. My only negative comment is that for me the sofa/chair requires new padding in the seat cushions very soft plus you sink down to much. Thatâs just me being picky other guests may like it. I will definitely recommend to friends/family we will be back.

The host was very welcoming and helpful, and the property had everything that was needed for self catering - even a washing machine & dryer! The enclosed courtyard was a haven for wildlife such as Red Squirrel, Woodpeckers, and a variety of small birds. It was lovely to sit and watch them feed from feeders. We had a wonderful stay, and would highly recommend staying here......
