Ellie's Lodge in Ulverston is a well-received holiday rental, praised for its spaciousness, cleanliness, and range of facilities suitable for large groups. Guests enjoyed the bar, pool table, hot tub, sauna, and comfortable bedrooms. While some minor issues were reported, such as the need for more kitchenware and the location being less rural than expected, the overall experience was positive with many looking to return.
Most guests found Ellie's Lodge to be clean and comfortable. There was a single mention of a sticky kitchen floor, but this seems to be an isolated incident. The property is generally maintained to a high standard of cleanliness.
The location is appreciated for its proximity to local amenities and the town, although it is noted to be less rural than expected and adjacent to a garden centre. The convenience to Ulverston and nearby attractions is a plus, but the setting may not be as secluded as some guests anticipated.
The lodge is consistently described as comfortable, with spacious rooms and a variety of areas to relax. However, one review mentioned unbearably hot bedrooms, which suggests that comfort may be affected during warmer periods.
Facilities are a highlight, with a bar, pool table, hot tub, and sauna frequently mentioned. Some guests noted a lack of certain kitchen items and issues with Wi-Fi, indicating room for improvement in maintenance and provision of amenities.
There are no specific mentions of gifts or special thoughtful touches provided by the hosts in the reviews. Therefore, it is not possible to assess the thoughtfulness category based on the available information.

The house is in Ulverston and has a vey close Aldi and M&S in case you need it. The town is not too far too. The rooms look exactly like the pictures and we loved the hot tub, sauna and the games room. We initially could not figure out the heating and wifi password but that was later resolved. Overall it was great and would stay here again.

What made it really fun was the bar/pool table area which is ideal for big parties, fridges and speaker really great and plenty of seating. Be mindful that it is opposite to a Garden centre but not secure around the back and absolutely take before and after photos of everything inside and out, especially the hot tub, as we were asked to pay for damage to the hot tub, which we were able to prove we did not do and which was accepted by the owner. Would still definitely recommend it as a great venue for family and friends.
