Guests say

Ashton Lodge receives praise for its cleanliness, comfort, and thoughtful touches such as welcome gifts. The location is appreciated for its proximity to attractions and the site's peacefulness. Some guests mention minor cleanliness issues and maintenance needs, but overall experiences are positive with recommendations for future stays.

Most guests found the lodge to be spotless and beautifully presented. However, a few noted issues with pet hair, unhoovered carpets, and outdoor cleanliness, slightly affecting the overall perception.

The lodge's location is well-regarded, with guests appreciating its ease of access, proximity to the motorway, and the beauty of the surrounding grounds. It serves as a good base to explore the area, despite some comments about noise from the motorway.

Guests generally found the lodge comfortable, with plenty of storage, soft towels, and a fenced outdoor area for pets. Some minor issues were raised about bedroom doors not closing properly and the noise from the motorway.

Facilities are mostly appreciated, especially the kitchen and the grounds. However, there are several mentions of maintenance issues such as a non-working fridge and poor hoover performance, which suggest room for improvement.

The owners are commended for their thoughtful gestures, including welcome chocolates, prosecco, and treats for pets. While these gifts are warmly received, it is noted that such personal touches may vary and are not guaranteed with every stay.

I would happily stay there again. Can also highly recommend Booths in Carnforth, very good supermarket?

The owner was able to get a highchair to us as requested. Unfortunately, the accommodation wasn't as clean as we had expected such as what looked like dog hair over the carpets and the outside areas needing to be cleaned before using. I felt we had to clean the living room area of accommodation again before letting my 5month old be on the floor.
