The property consistently receives commendations for its warm and inviting atmosphere.

Reviewers consistently mention the property's cleanliness, describing it as spotless and well-maintained. The high standard of cleanliness contributes significantly to the overall positive experience.

The property's location is frequently highlighted as ideal for touring the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales. Its quiet setting is also appreciated, although one comment about the local pub's food suggests dining options may require travel.

Comfort is a standout feature, with guests finding the cottage cosy, inviting, and peaceful. The presence of a comfortable bed is often noted, enhancing the overall comfort of the stay.

Facilities are well-regarded, with the property described as well-equipped and lacking nothing. However, one observation about insufficient crockery and cutlery slightly impacts the score.

It was great having 2 sofas which you don’t often get in cottages for two! Furnishings we’re of good quality and it was obvious that the owners had actually lived in it to make sure it was a pleasant and well thought out space. It is well placed for trips out to the Southern Lakes and we also made use of the local bus and train service.
