Nearby is the village of Uppermill which is based in Saddleworth, here you will find the excellent Saddleworth Golf Club with stunning countryside views, the Saddleworth Museum and Gallery where you can learn more about your local surroundings, the historic Pots and Pans Monument, as well as the largest park in Saddleworth, the Churchill Playing Fields which features a skatepark and tennis courts. The property is only a short walk from the beautiful village of Delph where you can take part in the famous Delph Duck Race, and then sample one of the 1200 different gins at the Bell Inn.
