Dobcross is a charming hilltop community about halfway between Delph and Uppermill. The community is well-known for its picturesque setting on the sloping valley side of the River Tame with stunning vistas. It also offers a fair selection of attractions, such as the Brownhill Countryside Centre, the yearly Whit Friday brass band concerts, and walks along the Diggle Canal. Eating options include The Navigation Inn and The Swan, while you can stock up on supplies at the local Post Office and Village Shop. The Saddleworth Museum & Gallery, Saddleworth Golf Club, Weaver and Wilde Coffee House, and The Riverside Bar & Grill are just a short distance outside of the hamlet in Uppermill.

Lovely walks along the canal and upper mill is a 10min walk every think you need. Manchester is a 3/4 hour drive away. This cottage is one of the best equipped cottages we have stayed in would recommendâ¦
