Ideal for one or two people. The hosts are very welcoming and Carolyn had made me some beautiful scones even making them dairy free for me. There was also some fresh eggs from her hens and a welcome bottle of wine. She also made me a lovely fruitcake which was one of the best Iâve ever had! Being used to some cottages where you need to take everything with you it was lovely to find cleaning items and lovely scented handwash in the bathroom. The cottage made it easy for me to reach places like Chatsworth House, Hardwick Hall and Bakewell etc. I would definitely recommend it as a lovely place to stay.
