Communication with Sykes was very good and the cottage manager, Tracey, was very helpful and lovely to deal with. For a cottage with two double bedrooms, it is light on crockery. There are only four mugs, glasses, plates etc. which means a lot of washing up (there is no dishwasher) but this was a small inconvenience. The beds were comfortable, the cottage was warm and the paddock made it perfect for our dog. Overall, weâd recommend.

The cottage has everything you need. The bonus of the paddock is good and the dog loved it. Chelmorton is a good little village ldeally located for visiting the small towns and linking up to the road network for further exploring

The cottage was cosy and welcoming. Everything was clean and well appointed. The location was wonderful, and the meadow around the back was an unexpected bonus. We loved our sunset walks every evening! I'd have no hesitation in recommending Primitive Mews to anyone looking to base themselves conveniently within the spectacular Peak District. Many thanks!
